What do you do for Higher Expectations?
In my role as Fundraising and Operations Coordinator, I oversee fundraising efforts and operational activities in order to optimize our strategies internally. This helps improve economic mobility for Racine residents by ensuring we continue to operate and fundraise effectively.
What is your background?
I was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am currently attending Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) and I am obtaining my Business Management and Real Estate Associate degrees. Throughout my diverse working background I have developed a passion for helping others and enriching my education to further my personal and professional goals.
What is your favorite thing to do in Racine County?
My favorite thing to do in Racine is visit Georgie Porgies and feast on the custard and burgers. I absolutely love custard, so I am always on the prowl for new custard places in Racine. Another favorite of mine is walking throughout my neighborhood with my dogs while visiting the local dog park.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Becoming a part of the HE team is like a dream come true. I love that I am able to make an impact within the community that I live and work in. As a local landlord and rental property owner, I’d like to showcase all of the brilliant opportunities available within Racine County. I aspire to uplift and educate people about HE’s national movement and message.
What's one thing you love that has nothing to do with work?
I am a huge fan of Marvel and DC universe, Anime and just about anything related to superheroes. My favorite anime of all time is Hunter x Hunter. My favorite DC movie is Dark Knight (2008) . My favorite Marvel movie is a Black Panther.
